Group Training in Streetsville Mississauga

The Mississauga entry point into athletic development

Group training at Ternion in Streetsville is built for competitive young athletes ages 10 to 18 across the GTHA. It is not a fitness class. It is the foundational layer of athletic development, delivered at our 66 Thomas Street, Unit 32 facility in small groups so coaches can still cue every athlete individually.

Movement fundamentals, coordination, core strength, and the early habits of training with intent. Athletes from Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, and surrounding cities who continue with us typically progress into the Athletic Training program after a season of group work.

Programs are supervised by Certified Athletic Trainers and built around what young athletes actually need to develop. Not a watered-down adult bootcamp class.

My son has been attending Ternion for six years and the results have been outstanding. I have seen a noticeable improvement in his physical development, strength, and overall endurance. ◆ What to Expect

What to Expect

Sessions emphasize quality of movement before quantity of work. Young athletes learn how to squat, hinge, push, pull, run, and change direction properly before load is added.

Confidence builds. Athletes who arrive uncertain about training environments find that the small group lets them ask questions and progress without judgement.

After a season of group training, many athletes are ready to add 1-on-1 sessions in the Athletic Training program. The transition is gradual and coach-supported.

Inquire About Group Training

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is group training for?
Competitive young athletes ages 10 to 18 who play a sport and want to add structured supplemental development. Beginners are welcome. Group training is intentionally the foundational tier in our progression, designed so athletes can move into 1-on-1 work when they are ready.
How big are the groups?
Small. Groups are sized so coaches can cue every athlete individually. This is not a fitness class with 25 people. Specific cap depends on age range and session type; confirm at intake.
What ages do you accept?
10 to 18 is the standard range for group training. Below 10, we recommend other community sport programming first. Above 18, the Personal Training or Athletic Training programs are usually a better fit.
How is this different from a sports practice?
Sport practice develops your sport. Group training develops the athlete underneath the sport: movement quality, strength, coordination, core stability, and athletic habits. It complements team practice rather than replacing it.
What if my child is a beginner?
Beginners are welcome and expected. Group training is the foundational tier. Coaches teach the movement patterns from scratch and progress at a rate the athlete can absorb. No prior strength training experience required.
